I did this exercise in Illustrator. First, I did the key with the ellipse tool, the rounded rectangle tool and the start tool. I used the pathfinder to add and also subtrat. I used the filter-styleze to drop a shadow to the key. Then I copy and paste the original to add a start and then use the pathfinder to subtrated.
The second one, I used the star tool and the ellipse, add color to it and subtracted with the pathfinder. The third one I use the the polygon tool with the start tool and then pathfinder subtracted.

This is my business card. Do you like it?

This exercise was done in two steps. First, I use photo shop to select the shape of my picture with the pen tool. Then I copy and paste it into illustrator. Then in illustrator I gave the shape of the picture color and I type the font. Then I open a new doc. for illustrator where I gave the sizes of the card and then I put the name, email, and phone number. It was a fun exercise.

This exercise was better than save the trees because I got a better idea of how to do it.

Illustrator, I guess, is more difficult than photoshop. Doing the logos was good, but I need to know better the tools of illustrator. The pathfinder is the key window in this case.

Well I believe Sofia is happier with this work that I did compare with the one I did last week. I find out that photoshop is an interesiting program that people can do what ever they want with it. I edit this pic. as a duotone in this form: first, I clean Sofia's face with the clone stamp tool. Second, I change her lips and eyes with by selecting them and changing the color with imagine-adjustment-level. After I did all of that I went to imagine-mode-grayscale to take off all the color of Sofia's face. Then, I select again imagine-mode-duotone to select the colors I wanted to use and then saved as RGB color. Now you can see how different Sofia looks...

I love this exercise because it was easy. The tools I used were the the magic wand to select the parts that I wanted to paint, the eyedropper to select the original colors, and the paint backet. For the background I used the gradient tool. I hope you like this pic.

Dont look at this picture.

This is my first exercise done in photoshop. This is not the best work, but I will do it better next time. LOL
